Overall, I'm finding driving the roads as enjoyable as I had suspected too and seemingly easy too (I'm progressing much faster than my friends!) and I shall be taking my theory test tomorrow - I'll keep you updated :)
So, it would seem that driving a Mini One on the roads is somewhat different to driving my Mini on a race track - there's the obvious reasons such as the fact that you don't drive round and round one track, and there isn't a huge amount of drifting and sliding to do on the loose sections, but there's other more technical reasons which add to it too, which are perhaps not noticed by those who look at the sitaution blindly - a clear example of this would be that the brakes in the Mini One are much, much sharper than the brakes in my Mini and so for the first few journeys there was a lot of jolting forwards, not only for myself, but for the passengers too! Not only this, but I've had to learn not to cross my arms whilst turning the wheel and also to turn it in more of a smooth movement, rather than a lot of small, jolty movements!
Overall, I'm finding driving the roads as enjoyable as I had suspected too and seemingly easy too (I'm progressing much faster than my friends!) and I shall be taking my theory test tomorrow - I'll keep you updated :)
